This region is known as an
adventurous trekking in Nepa. This is a long,
hard trek around Dhaulagiri (8167m) that starts
from Beni. . Mt. Dhaulagiri I, is the sixth
highest peak of Nepal and world’s seventh. . The
peak is high above the popular religious and
trekking site of Muktinath. The vast area
screens the hidden river up stream, ferns and
forest of Oak and other deciduous trees and
juniper forest.
The trekking route follows the Myagdi Khola
westwards to Darbang, then turns north through
lowland forests into the high country. Much of
the route is on snow and glaciers as it crosses
French Col pass (5240m). Then we traverse the
head of Hidden Valley, and crosses Dhampus Pass
(5155m). The trek ends with a steep descent to
Marpha and a return to Pokhara via the Ghorapani
ridge. This trek provides some amazing; close
up, panoramic view of the entire Dhaulagiri
